We have a website!! 💥

I’m really excited to announce that the brand-new Brassing Around website is launching this week — a huge step forward for everything we’re trying to achieve.

Run by myself, Elise Hale, and built by Jack Capstaff, the new platform gives us a dedicated space to bring you more of what you love, and to involve more people from across the brass band community.

So what’s new?

The website will allow you to:

💻Follow real-time commentary from contests

📰Catch up on news and upcoming events

👤Create an account to post, comment, and engage with others

📊Vote for your audience favourite performances

🔍Use our new search functionality to find commentary about your own band

That last one is something we’re particularly excited about — bands will be able to easily find feedback specific to them. We hope this helps provide our insight and supports bands in their ongoing development and success.

We’ll still be sharing content on Facebook, but the website gives us the freedom to expand — bringing in more contributors, covering more events, and sharing more music with more people.

The site will be going live this week, just in time for Jack to cover the European Championships set test on Friday — our first major event on the new platform.

This is just the beginning, and we can’t wait to grow Brassing Around with you.
